“Well Researched” June 4, 2007 (FIVE STARS ... Amazon.com reader review, June 2007)
C. J. Shank (Hagerstown, MD, USA)

"This biography of actress Maureen O’Sullivan, is the first I have read on her and is a well-researched book. The author took a lot of time to interview those who worked with O’Sullivan as well as to go back to interviews from those who are no longer with us. The author also did a book on Johnny Weissmuller. This book focuses on O’Sullivan’s career, not just in the Tarzan films, although that seems to be her lasting legacy, but her career at MGM in such classics as Pride and Prejudice, The Thin Man, David Copperfield, and A Day at the Races. The book also has excellent photos. A must for any fan of films of the golden age of Hollywood!"
